GB Pockit Plus Review

An upgrade on the super-compact GB Pockit, the GB Pockit Plus has a larger canopy, a deep recline suitable for naps, is compatible with the best infant car seats, and features the same tiny, simple fold and excellent maneuverability for which the Pockit is already known and loved.

Things We Love

Looks Nice: The GB Pockit Plus looks best in Satin Black. Some of the design features make the stroller look a bit funky, including the antler-like handlebars, the double wheels, and the general compactness of the stroller itself, but overall the stroller still looks modern and sleek.
Lightweight and Portable: The Pockit Plus is only 13 pounds.
Ridiculously Easy, Incredibly Compact Fold: The Pockit Plus folds and unfolds easily, but requires two hands to do so. It has the most compact fold of all the strollers we recommend.
Decent Recline: An upgrade on the GB Pockit, the Pockit Plus reclines enough for a comfortable nap on the go.
Decent Storage Space: For such a compact stroller, the Pockit Plus has a decent amount of under-stroller storage, accessible from both the front and the back.
Small Wheels; No Suspension: The Pockit Plus has small 4.5 inch wheels and no suspension. While this stroller is totally fine on sidewalks, this is not comfortable ride on terrain rougher than a poorly paved path.
Compatible with the Best Car Seats: The Pockit Plus is compatible with all GB car seats, as well as our favorites– Maxi Cosi, Nuna, and Cybex. Adapters sold separately.

Things We Don't Love As Much

Not Ideal for Taller Parents: With a handlebar reaching only about 40 inches, this is not the best option for parents over six feet tall.
Not Modular: The Pockit Plus is forward-facing only and does not have a parent-facing option. This is standard for compact/travel strollers.
No Adjustable Footrest: The Pockit Plus does not have an adjustable footrest. The footrest itself is very minimal and longer legs will definitely dangle.
Not Convertible to a Double Stroller; No Board for Older Children: The Pockit Plus does not convert to a double stroller and does not have a ride along board for older children.
No Bassinet Option: Currently there is no bassinet option for this stroller. (GB is creating one for the European market… we wish we had one too!) Since it is car seat compatible, the Pockit Plus can technically be used for infants, but we always prefer a bassinet to a car seat for infant strolls.
No Accessories Included: The Pockit Plus does not come with accessories. Rain covers, car seat adapters, footmuffs, umbrellas, etc. are all sold separately.

GB Pockit Plus Alternatives

If you want a travel stroller with a bassinet… the Babyzen YOYO+ is a pricy but amazing option for those who can afford it, or you can get the Mountain Buggy Nano if the design flaws don't bother you.
If you want a travel stroller more suitable for parents over six feet tall… try the Babyzen YOYO+, GB Qbit Plus, Joovy Groove Ultralight, and Summer Infant 3D Lite.
If you want a travel stroller that can handle cobblestones and slightly rougher terrain… the Babyzen YOYO+ or GB Qbit Plus are the way to go, since both have larger wheels and suspension.
